BIOPTRON TREATMENT GUIDELINES


Here are the general guidelines for the application of BIOPTRON treatment.

1 GENERAL WELL-BEING AND RELAXATION At any part of the body in relaxed position. 4 - 10 minutes 1 - 2 per day for as many days as required Centre of forehead (3rd eye area), base of neck, lower back (sacral area)
2 IMPROVED CIRCULATION IN SMALL BLOOD VESSELS At any part of the body where improved circulation is required - e.g. at the site of an injury. 4 - 10 minutes 1 - 2 per day for as many days as required Directly on problem areas
3 PROMOTION OF WOUND HEALING :

A) Treatment Of Minor Burns



Superficial burns - e.g. mild sunburn.
Some partial thickness (deeper) burns - e.g. scald from hot liquid.

  B) Treatment Of Skin Ulcers Venous leg ulcers,
Diabetic foot ulcers,

6 LOWER BACK PAIN Muscular or mechanical lower back pain - injury to back muscles, ligaments, vertebrae (back bones), and / or joints between vertebrae. Lower back stiffness - spasm of back muscles. 7 ARTHRITIS :

A) Osteoarthritis

In hip joint,

8 CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME Tingling, aching, numbness in one or both hands. Loss of feeling in the fingers. Poor grip strength caused by weakness in finger muscles. Pain in the wrist / arm / shoulder. 4 - 10 minutes 1 - 2 per day for as many days as required Front and rear of lower and upper wrist areas & on rear of upper arms
9 TENNIS ELBOW Pain in elbow region,
Pain in muscles around the elbow.
Stiffness in elbow region.

10 SOFT TISSUE INJURIES :

A) Sprained Ligament
Pain around sprained joint.
Swelling in sprained joint.
Difficulty in movement.

  B) Strained Muscle Or Tendon Pain in area of strain.

13 S.A.D.

(Seasonal Affective Disorder / Winter Depression)
As bright light therapy in the winter months to alleviate symptoms:

Low mood, severe tiredness, etc
15 - 20 minutes Once a day. . Best between 6am & 8am if possible Over the eyes. (close eyes) Not necessary to look directly at the light.

Caused by yeast infection in groin area 10 minutes 1 - 2 per day for as many days as required Directly on affected areas


Note : Maintain a distance of 10cm (4") from the lamp filter to the treated skin area. BIOPTRON therapy has no harmful side effects. However, for serious medical conditions we recommend that you consult your physician first to establish whether other medical or surgical interventions are also required.
